We were indeed privileged to have Hendra Gouws as our demonstrator this morning and she delighted us with her interpretation of My Fair Lady!
To set the scene and tone of elegance for the morning, Hendra’s first design was a delightful old fashioned floral arrangement in a glass vase filled with stocks, roses, carnations, hydrangeas and gorgeous peonies.
Enter Eliza, our modern South African Fair Lady, and join her on her adventures on The Bachelorette!
Off to a high tea, looking ever so shabby chic in her beautiful designer shawl, with matching hat and handbag, all skilfully designed by fashionista Hendra G.
Then to the finals with exclusive custom made jewellery – a fabulous neckpiece and tiara, and just to ensure that she keeps her cool, a sparkling fan and handbag.
Celebrating her catch at the Durban July with another winning outfit – a exquisite vintage ‘My Fair Lady’ styled dress with a ginormous foxy hat certain to attract all kinds of attention and a stylish umbrella on hand to keep everyone at an arm’s length.
Thank you Hendra for an awesome morning, and sharing Eliza’s antics with us.  We all thoroughly enjoyed it!  Thank you for all your hard work in preparing all these designs, and your attention to detail was inspiring!
Thank you to Robyn, aka Eliza, and to Pam for assisting Hendra!
If you missed all this today, be sure to join us tomorrow at the workshop for more dazzling designing by Hendra G!
